A Potted Plant in Three Dimensions

The intent was to build a fairly realistic model of a typical indoor plant, efficient in terms of geometry and texturing making it suitable for use in large architectural visualization projects. I'll eventually post a tutorial on the construction of the model, but for now I'll just provide a few images and an animation. Click any of the images below for a larger version and a description.

Animation

An animation of the plant being rotated through 360° is available. The file is an AVI encoded using an unoffical version of Microsoft's MPEG-4 codec (also available). As usual, caveat emptor. Apologies and congratulations to those not on a Windows system.
